Do you know what the reddish bird with the black cap is? We don't get those in Dublin.

In the middle photo? That looks like a Bullfinch.

I thought it was a chaffinch,

a bullfinch is brighter red and a really black head.

We get lots of chaffinches here, their spring plumage is incredibly dandy, but not nearly as bright red as a bullfinch.

This has reminded me I have some coconut halves in the fridge (long story) so we must put them out. And sort out a feeding station the pigeons won't get to!

We do get chaffinches in Dublin, although not often in my garden. I suppose it could be a chaffinch.
