darakat - Now with pockets!

If you have planned the rest of the cristmass dinner down to the finist details. IE the trukey with stuffing, or pig with crakleing, or where I come from (Australia btw) A cold meat luch with some Praws (yes if you like you can use the sterotypical chuck another prawn on the barbie mate comment). You however genrally get to the point when you discover 3 days befor C-day you have no idea what pudding you will make for afters.
Now the traditionalists will go for the good old fassion figgy pudding, some will go for cold cake and ice-cream, others for some other puddings. And thats is what this convo is about what is your favourate pudding to (fill up the gaps as it where) to have?
I personaly have persimon pudding, you whould sware that it has choclate in it and is a cristmass pudding all the way, but when I tell you it hasnot touched a scrap of mince or a tincy bit of coco, you sware I am lying. But after some consideble intrest I may post it somowhere here on H2G2 to share the info.

Schrödinger's Cat-flap

We always have a traditional Christmas pudding- I dont actually like it, but it's worth it if only to see it burn. Always turn the lights off for this, btw, the blue flames look SO gorgeous in the dark smiley - xmaspud

Darakat, perhaps when you decide to put the recipe on h2g2 you can do so in <./>ThePost</.>.

sounds positively yummy!!! you might want to start a thread and advise how much lemon juice though. I didn't see it in the list of ingredients...

I always have to do the same when I write a recipe because I don't measure and don't necessarily do it the same way twice myself..

That's the only problem with putting a recipe in The Post. You can't go back and edit the page like you can a regular guide entry. Though I'm sure Shazz would be happy to change it.
