How did I manage to forget Pittsburgh's movie heritage?
- Scenes from 'Creepshow' were shot on the campus of Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh (the bit with the box under the stairs).
- Both 'Night of the Living Dead' and 'Dawn of the Dead' were shot in and around Pittsburgh
- That awful Bruce Willis movie in which he is a cop on a boat was shot in Pittsburgh and I watched some of the chase scenes from the hills overlooking the river which was pretty cool.
And then there's also nearby Johnstown which served as the locale for the classic sports comedy 'Slapshot' with Paul Newman. It is without a doubt the best hockey movie ever made.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
