What are the main differences between the two (Mao and Ho) and where do Ho's confucian leanings manifest themselves?

Thanks, autist. I think Ho was more more pragmatic than Mao and far less dogmatic. It seems out of character, for example, for Ho to have committed himself to a misguided program of reform like Mao's so-called Great Leap Forward, which was a disaster. I think you could say that Ho's confusionism is manifest in the nature of Vietnamese nationalism and the peasant army resistance to French and later American imperialism. I'm not an expert on either Taoism or Confusianism, I hasten to add.
