Isn't that the name of the millionaire John Cleese plays in 'Rat Race' aswell?

Indeed - not Cleese's idea, though.
I should point out that, regarding the story of Idle's suitcase, Sinclair's wife recently said there weren't any cliffs near the hotel; and in fact when Cleese himself tells the story, he says Sinclair told them he'd put it behind the white wall some way off from the hotel entrance.
