No, but I will look into it online. Thank you.
I'm currently reading World History from Prehistory through 1750. War, war and more war. Plague, torture, intolerance - in general, hell.
Hey, have you read that Herod's greatest sin was spending the Temple gold? I find that odd. Was the Temple gold different than 'non-temple' gold? Was it somehow tainted?
If you ever read Graham Hancock's The Sign and the Seal, let me know and I'll fill in the interesting parts. Graham doesn't like linguistics. If he did, he might have figured the whole thing out by himself. As it is, he proved me right. The Ark was a power source, probably radioactive.
Is this the device that Alchemists knew existed? Maybe.
Take care!

It is true that whenever humans have enough to eat, are warm and have a sense of security then immediately the first thing they look about for is a fight.
I reckon that spending the temple gold was bad 'cos it was meant to be sacred- Herod took from religion and so, the logic goes, from God.
But personally I think that the worst thing was getting all those childeren killed.

My point exactly. God isn't about gold. So how do the murdered children get superceded by spending gold, unless the gold was dangerous to the people.
Plato would not let the Philosopher Kings were gold or silver. Maybe it was tainted.
That guy in the Bible drank from the gold cup and died.
And then Herod, the baby killer, is bad because he spent some money.
More later. I'm reading about that guy you told me about. He's excellent. There is a great website, I'll write it later. I have to get off the computer.
Take care.

A great website? I could use that. I'm studying Descartes for AS philosophy.

I'm sorry it took so long to get back to you, but the computer wouldn't talk to the internet. Now it will!
I'm also working more hours and have little time. Hope you like the site.
Take care.

It's a great site- thanks very much.
Hope you get more time soon, or that you enjoy your work at least.

1) Don't know. I'm afraid I didn't really understand to be honest.
2) Evolution/God delete whichever you don't believe in. Or neither if you believe in both.

I'm not doing so bad thanks, how about you?
I leave for France in a few weeks. Still got loads to sort out though, as well as learning to drive .

Apart from a dodgy back and a stuffed up head, I'm fine.
Driving huh?
I *loathe* driving...
As you can probably tell, I don't have a license. I now tell people that it's unseemly to drive, especially for a lady of my calibre.

I love driving, polluting though it is. One other thing it's done for me is made me realise what a maniac cyclist I am/was, so I've got better at that, too.
Hope your back gets better soon.

Good luck with the driving test!
I do wish I could drive - living in Somerset and having to rely on public transport is a serious headache.
My back is feeling better after my belly dance class, thanks.

Good to hear it.
Even in Cambridge where I am, public transport is not hugely reliable. The bus system seems to be one of those things that you can learn to understand only if you already understand it.
And thanks .

Road kill what you need in Cambridge is a decent motor bike stick your drumkit on the side car, give you something to do at all those traffic lights.
