To relieve stress during..errr-stressful times-I'd recommend a nice warm bath with any of the suitable essential oils.

For beginners I'd say-try lavender, about 6 drops per bath-and of course, be careful-smiley - star OIL MAKES THE BATH SLIPPYsmiley - star---so be very careful!
