A Conversation for 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail' - the Film
Doune Castle

If anyone happens to wake up and find themselves about 10 miles north-west of Stirling then you may be pretty lost - especially if you should have got off the bus somewhere south of the border. You can console yourself by visiting Doune Castle which was one of the major locations for Holy Grail. You will soon notice how careful use of lighting and camera angles can totally change the look of a film set.
Ask the custodian nicely and they will lend you a pair of coconut shells to add to the realism of your visit.
For those of you with a pile of maps to hand, Doune castle is located at NN725014.
Yippee my first posting!!!
