I just saw a sign in Barnes and Noble saying the next book will be out in January 2003...
Has the release date been pushed back?

The date must of been changed it looks like Jan now....Wonder what happend

I read online that Robert Jordan asked his editors to puch back the release date, because he wanted to be sure he had enough time to give the story its due. Hopefully the extra time helps out and we get an excellent addition to the Wheel of Time.
The same article said that he was planning on writing a total of 12 books in the series. The end is almost within sight.

There are neither beginnings nor endings to the turning of the Wheel of Time. But it will be /an/ ending.
