two reasons why people will not believe the 'truth' is that 1, the are very strongly religous and they truely believe in their religion, or 2, they have no motivation and or reason to believe you, whether it be because you do not have good suppotring details to your truth or because there is no advantage in trying to believe it, or at least comprehend it and try to understand it for themselves...

The facts are, it is impossible for a human being to truly 'believe' in religion. Humans have been putting up a good front for centuries but despite all their faith, deep down, in the recesses of their instinctual being, there remains doubt in anything unproven. The other thing is, it is not necessary to reach the entire human race. It is only necessary to reach 51% of the 5 - 10% of the human race who actually have a real effect on the evolution of the species. The possibility of happiness on earth is enough motivation for me and anyone who isn't truly happy, which includes a large portion of the people who don't have much to do with the evolution of society, but can vote nonetheless, and probably didn't want to vote for anything political before in their lives. I hope that there are lots of people interested just because it's the right thing to do as well. The evolution that I speak of is a long and complicated road, that I have spent many years studying every stone on the way. I love these chances to get argument and opinion from others and I need people like you to help test and prove what I claim to have already proven , but only to myself. Thanx

In case it's not obvious yet, I could use any input or help I can get. You couldn't imagine how exciting, and disconcerting it is to actually find 1 person showing interest in something so important. It would lift my heart to actually make some progress in this, oh holiest of missionssmiley - laugh.

You say you want material, well, theres several ideas in posts above this one which may hold some of the stuff you're looking for.

Forget everything I said about signing up for that all I want to know is what does it do when I hit the sign up button?, I mean, does it email you with the info or something so that I could leave a comment somewhere on there?

I guess I should take the membership sign-up off for now. I was just experimenting with Frontpage and I'm going to put a members list above it. There are links to my email on every page and I guess I just want people's input. I guess I'm not much of a writer because it is hard for me to get into words exactly what I am trying to say. It's a part of evolution that hasn't been discussed much. I need fresh input, higher thought, different opinion, ya know what I mean? Something to react to I guess. It's one thing to understand something yourself, it's another thing to translate that into the perception of others. I'm working on it.

smiley - grr Hey, why do the people on this site seem to hate religious people? Seems like every thread I go to eventually wanders onto the topic of everyone's anti-christian sentiments. Why can't we all just get along? I have made no attempts to evangalize anyone on this site, so why do these atheists try to? Seems to me that I'm being discriminated against.

I, for one, am not trying to discriminate against anyone. It is important to me, if I have any hope in uniting the human race, that it must be on principals that are unarguable. I am only interested in the known truth. That is all we need to make sensible decisions. Religious beliefs are possible, but not proven, and thus your opinion, which I have absolutely no desire to interfere with. To each his ownsmiley - smiley.

Fair enough...
I believe that religion as a concept has strayed a little, but there is nothing wrong with believe what you wish to. To each his/her own, and they can keep it, for a while, maybesmiley - cheerssmiley - huh

Life the universe and everything. Is a tautology, like saying "my knees my legs and me" they are all one thing we can identify them as seperate parts but they are indevisible. The universe and all the life in it are EVERYTHING.

The question is infact the quest for knowledge without more of it we will not understand the answer even if we have already found it. Tkae a look at your self and the people around you, do they look confused? Why is it that the ones who say they have the answers always look the most confused. Too much FAITH and not enough KNOWLEDGE.

Evolution has blessed us with some great things steroscopic vision, opposable thumbs and self awareness. We can use them in a quest for knowledge or we can use them in frenzy of greed and wrath. We can build together or destroy the lives of others.

It comes down to what motivates people more possesions and a comfortable life or sharing the world and sharing in the benefits of truly working together?

Yes, but there isn't a way we can seem to convince ourselves that that is correct the same way we can't seeem to convince ourselves that all those planes that got lost in the burmuda triangle were beamed up by space aliens. It's the only logical explanation, but we just cannot accept it. Because DNA died, we will now never know.
smiley - towelNerd42

Nerd send your drinking water off for analysis, I dont think you would take drugs out of choice, but I think someone might be spiking you.

Aeroplanes and ships go missing in the Bermuda triangle due to sudden releases of natural gas from underground chambers. The difference between air and natural gas causes aeroplanes to fall out of the sky, ships sink because gas bubbles in the water decrease the density of the sea and make the ships less bouyant. The sea between the Islands that form the Bermuda trangle is very deep making it very difficult to locate and recover any of the affected planes or vessels.

This is fact and you can check it but if you prefer to put your faith in unsubstantiated fantasies about aliens you can do that if you so choose.

I didn't know that was the theory/truth...Thats interesting...

I agree with your first posting...
though evolution I think has given us all these things and I believe that an explanation surpasses the reasonability of faith.but If you do not wish to believe in the concept of evolution, instead in some supernatural power or force, then your beliefs are even more strange to people who do not share them than the evolution line of thought. If a human was born and kept isolated, but educated, I personally think that they would find the theory of evolution much more believable than any sort of faith or supernatural thing.
However the "higher" being that many believe to exist may still exist by this, but by being concealed behind a second layer of reasoning, science, and still controling everything and doing all that he is thought to do but still keeping the theories correct, as the driving force behind evolution instead of evolution not having happened. (confused myself I think) but, yeah...

Hey, did you ever consider that the whole 42 and Earth thing was just created to keep everyone busy for a few million years until sentient thought could evolve enough to answer the original question. There is nothing in the known universe that doesn't make sense to me, really, seriously, try me! And since I seem so willing to encourage people to jump down my throat, I will add that nothing in logical study of the universe points to a secret Creator.OK, let er rip!
