Amanda Posted Jan 18, 2003
Yeah, I was bored.
Needed a change.

why don't you dye your hair some funky color, like light blue? that'd rock!
ok, who here can't stand Enterprise?
Amanda Posted Jan 18, 2003
It's black, so colours do not have much of an effect. I went red once. Not Bright red, but like, redish.

maybe you could go "goth", you know, with black lipstick and eyeliner and stuff... and wear a bunch of metal all over... i saw a girl once with hundreds of metal objects on her-paper clips, safety pins, etc...
looked pretty cool, actually... i think her hair was an UNnatural orangish-red.
at least, get yourself some metal spiked wristbands

Amanda Posted Jan 18, 2003
Wooooooow, steady.
I have a reputation to keep.
I can't see them letting me into the school like that.
Can you imagine a bunch of ten year olds coming into school and faced by a teacher metaled up, all in black and long black hair?
Amanda
yeah, that damn dress code
%- | ? Posted Jan 18, 2003
so, what exactly do you teach?
over here, Mayo has a corncob up it's A$$ about everything, including clothes... guys are supposed to wear suits all the time... yeah, right! i don't. i haven't read the manual, but i'm wondering if light blue hair is off limits
yeah, that damn dress code
Amanda Posted Jan 18, 2003
I am only training at the moment, but I teach kids.
yeah, that damn dress code
%- | ? Posted Jan 18, 2003
um, yeah, i gathered that "10-year olds" were "kids"
i meant, what subjects do you teach?
btw, are 10 yr olds like 5th graders or something?
and, when is your bedtime? isn't it kinda late over there?
yeah, that damn dress code
Amanda Posted Jan 18, 2003
Its 10.30pm here.
I am training to specialise in Computers, have to teach the other stuff as well, like Literacy and Mathematics and Science etc etc.
our 10 year olds are in year 5 yeah. I spose that's your Fifth grade.

Tango,
i barely contained my when i read your last post.
it IS kinda amusing when you go back and see what we were supposed to be talking about at the beginning. wasn't it something about making another movie with the original star trek crew?
yeah, that damn dress code
Tango Posted Jan 19, 2003
At least I managed to keep on the same tv show, you couldn't even do that!!! Never mind, that's what makes h2g2 interesting, you never know what's going to happen!

(Returning to topic)
Confession-I have not read all the back log.
If someone has already suggested this-I'd like to see a Star Trek film made with both crews from TNG & Voyager.
IMO the best character in Enterprise is the dog, and just what the dog is doing there, I could never fathom

hmm...i like that idea. but, what i'd to see is the TNG crew vs. Voyager. i wanna see Picard kick Janeway's a$$ across the galaxy. but, i want seven to defect to the TNG crew b/c she's cool and, voyager can have troi
the dog is cute. but, i can't stand archer and the obvious fact that he that dog more than anything else, including the Enterprise
i THINK out
yeah, that damn dress code
Tango Posted Jan 20, 2003
You mean like that TNG episode where the enterprise under Picard fought the er... h-something???... under Riker in a battle simulation? That might be interesting, they would undoubtedly have very different stategies. Picard would probably be a little more "orthodox", which doesn't say alot for the VOY crew!
Tango
something like that.
%- | ? Posted Jan 20, 2003
or one in which janeway just goes off the deep end becomes like captain psychob!tch or something
you're right, janeway is always trying something preposterous. it's unbelievably that she didn't destroy the Voyager within the first 10 episodes.
i THINK out
something like that.
%- | ? Posted Jan 20, 2003
hey, amanda, what did you think of that 2 part TNG episode when Picard was tortured by that cardassian S.O.B.?
ya think he handled it pretty well or do ya think they made him look like a sniveling whiny pansy
"there...are...FOUR...lights!"
i THINK out
something like that.
Tango Posted Jan 20, 2003
I liked that episode, i think they (director+stewart) did it very well
