Another type of staple remover

In my last job but one (working for an international chemical company) we had an office staple remover that was easy to use and v. affective. Instead of the claw device which requires luck and not a little patience this looked like a small pair of scissors where instead of one blade there was a triangle of metal with the middle removed. This was perpendicular to the other half of the staple remover which was a plastic triangle which fitted through the other blade.
In use the metal triangle was slid under the staple bar and the scissor action was used to push the other blade through the triangle. This had the affect of bending the staple and pulling the prongs of the deformed staple up and out of the paper.
In my subsequent jobs I've tried to get hold of such a staple remover but been unable to locate one. So I'm afraid its back to broken fingernails for me!
