When I'm getting a band together, I want to make sure that I'm not getting people who can't play. I want to run auditions and then select from there. What I think I'll do is give each person a sheet of music a week prior to the auditions so they can practice. I'm going to get everyone of the same instrument to play the same song so it is 'fair'
I was also wondering... if it gets too the point where we're selling cd's from our lyrics, do you need a licence to sell them?
