I spent some time in Whitley Bay when i was training for my current job. It was a few years ago but i have fond memories of it. I met some really great people and have had a few good nights out on the town. I remember the rain well but was lucky enough to get some cold, sunny days there too.

Well i did say they were cold and sunny. Very windy too but quite refreshing

Oh, the wind... I remember walking to school with the wind blowing off the North Sea. It would take about twenty minutes to struggle there, and five minutes to be blown home again

I really enjoyed it down there. I don`t know if it was the place itself or because i was in a different place so far away from home, on my own and for the first time. Maybe it was a combination of both.
