Nora - back from the Dublin meet!

smiley - laugh! This is a neat entry. I live in Bray, an Irish seaside town that bears some resemblance to what you describe. A little warmer, I think, and lots of old age homes. Thanks for explaining the Dire Straits lyrics - those had always been a bit enigmatic to me.

I'm glad you like it smiley - biggrin Old age homes aren't something I remember there being a lot of in Whitley Bay but, then again, I don't suppose I really went looking for them when I was a teenager smiley - smiley
