In case you are going to Bergen in Norway it is good to know that a tourist with a map and a rucksack has a much higher status there than a tourist with a camera and white sneakers. If at all possible avoid getting inside a bus with a tourist guide in the front seat. You can get sto see all there is to see if you are willing to walk and use the local bus system and you will get to know the city and its people much better than from high above in the tourist bus.
