A Conversation for Tea

OK for tea, but what about... tea ?

Just noticed that the whole entry and its attached conversations is about BLACK (with or without milk) tea. Now that's but a branch of the whole tea-tree...

Is this site too Euro/American centered ? I feel I have to add a word on GREEN tea(s).

Whether it is japanese style tea-powder (mixed into a thick and slightly butter "soup" ), or green/semi-fermented Oolong tea leaves, or Tibetan butter tea, or musty PuEhr from YunNan... These are cousins or ancestors of your nice cuppa smiley - tea... They surely deserve some credit.

smiley - erm
Now that I think of it, that could be a whole new entry alltogether !... I'll think of it over the week-end.smiley - ok

Now that's exactly what I meant...
With a little bit of cross-referencing, that will be perfect !

I'm an American, but I won't touch smiley - coffee (too bitter). Most people I know who are pro-smiley - tea are Asian or English (or really into those cultures). Here we have many fake teas like cold-brew iced teas, etc. I've never especially liked Oolong/Earl Gray/Black tea, as it they are too bitter. (they are good with sugar though) I prefer green tea, plain. Interestingly, my host-mother in Japan prefers oolong because green tea is "too bitter." You forgot that Japanese/Chinese green tea is also available in teabags/loose-leaf. I currently have all 3 forms in my room.

mmmmmm, smiley - tea!
