Another type of graffiti I've often noticed is that in certain conveniences, men will leave written invitations for sex with other men, accompanied with a rendezvous date and time and posibly a mobile phone number. I've never investigated whether these are wind ups, as per the womens' numbers mentioned in the Entry, or genuine offers. I'm not particularly disposed to investigate practically - wrong sexuality, plus anonymous, public sex in unhygeinic conditions is not my thing (no aspersions caste - chacun à son goût). But I do have a prurient interest in the many wondrous variants of human behaviour.

I've also wondered whether those numbers are actually genuine or just wind ups.

I wonder whether women's toilets have graffiti advertising lesbian sex?

I'v never seen any. But then womens loos seem to have less graffiti in general.

So what kind of graffiti is there on women's toilets?

Bet you use the lip-stick to write the graffiti. (maybe thats why women always spend so long in the toilet)

I wonder if some guys actually carry pens (or in some cases permanent markers) around with them with the specific purpose of writing on toilet walls.

Thinking about it...there's almost certain to be cottaging sites that could tell us about those phone numbers. But best not to access them from work.

I don't think lesbian sex would work so well in a toilet cubicle, though. Surely it would work best with somewhere to lie down, wheras for men standing or kneeling would be adequate. And there's also the whole subculture issue, which is male rather than female.

I have an inkling that such messages may not be left by gay men, but by nominally straight, married 'MWHSWM'.
