Drug induced thought loops...

This is where you forget what you were thinking part way through, and have to go back to the beginning of the train of thought in an attempt to recall where it was going to... Unfortunately, you either forget again before you get back to the point where you forgot, or get back to the part where you forget, and have no idea what you were going to say next: either way, having to go back to the beginning again to attempt to work out what it is you're thinking about.

This is the most futile and frustrating situation to be in, ever... But kinda fun, all the same.

If you wish to escape this kind of loop, you just need to convince your addled mind that whatever you were thinking of was inevetably random and pointless, and move on to something else...
What was I saying...? Thought loops... Way out... Move on to something else... What came next, hmmm not sure... Started at Thought Loops, way out... Move on... (ad infinitum)...
