A Conversation for Endless Loops

Spatial loops

You've only mentioned loops in time - what about spatial loops? For example the model village on the Isle of Wight which include a model of the model village which includes a a model of the model of the model vilage.

Fractals are another form of endless loop - they show the same amount of detail no matter how closely you look at them.

Indeed, it's all loops in time. Not even mentioning the image you get when you put two mirrors opposite each other and, for example, put a candle in between smiley - smiley

But the mirrors and candles don't form an endless loop. They form a long loop but you have to get your eye in line with the candle flame for the reflections to be endless and then all you see is the back of your head.

Easier if you point a video camera at its own monitor and put the candle between lens and screen.
