h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I asked this over at ask h2g2 but nobody seems to know...

I was in a coffee shop yesterday when I heard an all piano version of a Radiohead song (may have been Exit music). Have the band releeased this or is ot a cover? It was lovely and I would really like to get it for my boyf if I can find it anywhere.

Any guesses anyone?

I'm not entirely sure...there are a couple of fantastic Radiohead piano tunes that I can think that are fantastic (although no alterntaive versions of Exit Music..as far as I know). One was a B-sde for No Surprises...called 'How I made my Millions. The Live version of 'Like Spinning Plates' on the 'I might be wrong' Live album is a gorgeous piano track (technically the original is too...but the piano is reversed so that it doesn't sound like a piano track any more).
I can't think of the names of any of the other ones..although you might be amused (as I was) to find the Radiohead cover of 'Rhinestone Cowboy' by Glen Campbell...although you'll have to scour the web for an MP3 of it i suspect...i've got no idea if it was ever released (i sincerely doubt it was)
anyhow...A more descriptive description of the song and i might be able to help you find it...I'll try my best

It was definitely Exit Music. I have had a bit of a scout around for it on the net but no success so far. I will keep my eye out for the others too, they should be worth a listen!

I don't know if you've heard of it, but Audiogalaxy (www.audiogalaxy.com) has a song available for download called Exit Music for a film (piano version) which may be what you're looking for. Worth a try?
