Don't get me wrong however, The Cult were a quality band, I went to see them at Wembley Arena in '89 and they Rocked! Gave up on them after Ceremony myself though as they seemed to be reverting to Death Cult style red indian stuff. Is Jamie Stewart going to be in this reformation thing then? It would be interesting to hear new stuff with their core line up back again.

Yeah, Zep were an influence, especially on a couple of tracks on Electric, as I remember.

About Love Removal Machine sounding like Start Me Up - I always ask people what song it is when I put it on, and they always get it wrong! However, if you've heard their recent 'rare Cult' stuff, the original version of LRM before Rick Rubin remixed it sounds very different, and a lot less 'Stones-y'.

I don't think Stewart is going to be part of the new Cult. I think that their official website - [URL removed by moderator]- mentioned something about a bassist leaving the group 'by mutual consent' recently, but no mention of Stewart's name. Matt Sorum's back on board, though - good news!

Yeah, I've still got the Manor sessions somewhere on tape, electric ocean is also somewhat different. A mate of mine had it on CD, the entire original electric album, I quite liked it actually but Electric is better!
