It should also be mentioned that I'm Sorry I haven't a Clue regularly responds and reads out letters from their listener, er I mean listeners of course.
The diversity of the population who listen to the programme is legendary, gaining responses from as far away as North Wales, where Mrs Trellis regularly tunes in and is occasionally lucky enough to have her letters selected for broadcast, from the huge piles of mail they must recieve.

Yes, Humph regularly mentions his huge piles. Of correspondence. Mrs Trellis is a prolific correspondent.

Mrs Trellis actually hails from the genteel town of Prestatyn, a seaside resort that prides itself on being able to look down on neighbouring Rhyl (Chav-on-sea) and think nothing can ever sink that low. Vide discussion on Rhyl and its environs and associated talk threads:-
