A Conversation for 'Dune' - the Film
The Dune Prequels

I don't really know of any Dune Message Boards etc, so this seemed like a good place to leave my question.
Although i've read all the original dune novels, i've never got around to picking up any of the Prequels. From what i've heard they've had a bit of a mixed review among fans? Which ones are good/bad, and what's the main problems with them?

Well, as with all things it depends on how much depth you want to go in to. I think that as far as stories go they're definately readable, they give an insight into the Dune Universe. A few minor contradictions here and there doesn't really matter that much as all television and film science fiction series have discrepencies, but that should not detract from the whole.
The three House novels should be read as a trilogy though.
