Paul, inherited harah and her two children as his ghanima, "spoil of war", after killing jamis, shortly after meeting the fremen tribe at the start of 'Muad'dib'.
later on (i think it's 1 year), harah is released from paul's custody and is free to do as she wishes, and that is when she marries stilgar.

And Stilgar's sister married Pardot Keynes, father of Liet, who married Chani's mother after his best friend died after taking the Water of Life.
