Have an intense peanut butter like taste. Fried in very hot oil gets rid of the wings and the rest is best served on bread or toast...mmm.

Oh dear, someone is always bound to get hurt...
Never mind Amy, perhaps it won't catch on?

Excellent work Amy. Do keep a look out for hungry marauding worms though. They could tunnel under your barricades...

I'd love some crisps
just a note of warning, though. Didn't the article say ant juice taste like vinegar...I wouldn't be offering salt and vinegar in case you develop someones taste for...)

Do you have any CHICKEN flavour?
Flying ants...
Schrödinger's Cat-flap Posted May 9, 2002
the vinegary acid taste is only there when the ants are raw. when fried properly, they taste surprisingly like chicken, only much more crunchy. and i advise taking the wings off- they stick to the roof of your mouth...

By "flying ants" I mean termites, of course...yumm.
Also the queen termite can (allegedly) be eaten roasted - very nutritious.
