A Conversation for Myst - the Computer Game
More Mistakes!!!

Alaska, please don't let this article get to "edited" status with all of these mistakes!
First of all, the part that reads
"...could ever use, Myst's blocky figures masquerading as human characters ..."
Should say
"...could ever use, blocky figures masquerading as human characters..."
The point that was trying to be made was that Myst used real people rather than blocky figures.
"...Myst Masterpiece corrects a few faulty gameplay problems..."
Should be:
"...Myst Masterpiece corrects a few gameplay problems..."
(Or something like that... it sounded redundant/contradictory.)
And last of all,
"...is a project called Myst Dimensions which will..."
Should be
"...is a project called realMyst which will..." (realMyst should be italicized)
Trust me, the final title will be realMyst! Cyan already has a site up advertising it as just that.
And a couple of other things...
What happened to all of my footnotes? (There are some things that seem to make not as much sense w/out them)
What happened to the link for "Myst's Plot"?
PLEASE look into this!

Hey Cenchrea,
I've just been looking at this entry and firstly let me congratulate you on a great piece of writing. I am not an enthusiast of computer games but found this piece informative and entertaining :
To answer your queries:
The reason yuor footnotes were removed was because they are confusing for those who do not know the game.
The reason why the link to the plot spoiler has been removed is that Edited Guide Entries only link to other Edited Guide Entries or relevant external sites.
I have made the amendments to the entry (except we don't put game titles into italics).
If you have any queries, let me know.
Again, thanks for a great entry

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for correcting those mistakes!
(One last thing, though. As I read over the "Blocky figures" part, it still sounds like I'm referring to Myst as having blocky, unrealistic-looking characters. My mistake. Can we change that to something like "... more than anyone could ever use, when blocky figures masqueraded as human characters, Myst might seem a bit pathetic." Or maybe the blocky figures reference should be dropped altogether. I was trying to make the point that Myst went a step further by not using hokey animated figures, but I think it got lost somewhere in the translation. Your call.)
Okay, as long as there's a reason for cutting footnotes and links, I'm happy. I wasn't sure about the italics... that's fine, too.
Once again, thank you.

I've changed the text now - it should convey what you want to say.
If not, let me know.
Cheers for now.
