A Conversation for Bartenders

Bar Scams

Phantom Drinks.
I worked in a London pub for a bit. I noticed almost every member of staff that worked behind the bar were involved in some kind of scam to score themselves more drinks.
The most popular being the credit card one. Anyone in a large group, leaving their credit card behind the bar to run a tab would have extra drinks clocked up on it. The bar staff would then write down the number and type of drinks they were, and add it to the bill at the end of the evening. Most people were unable to even guess a scam, well they're drunk aren't they!
Pub closes, and the staff get hammered on the free booze.
