Vibrators. To vibrate or not to vibrate?

Ah but you see, the Butt Plug is not normally a vibrator, which would make it a member of the Dildo family. The stimulation is more of a presence and stimulation of sensitive nerve areas. The vibrator version would stimulate the *other side* of the G-spot.

I must be really abnormal, then, as I'm the happy owner of a vibrating butt plug...
And I'd finally had enough today (or maybe the problem is that I haven't had enough ) and went out and replaced my worn-out vibrator. If masturbation really made one blind, I'd be on a list for a retinal transplant by now!

You're not abnormal, I was talking semantics. I just meant that when it vibrates it isn't usually called a butt plug. Enjoy!

Well, well, well, well, well, well, well
Some very interesting comments above, some quite amusing.
I couldn't believe (see my posting 53 above) that the postings had stopped for days on this one but I guess the sudden resurgence of this thread is cos your batteries have all run dry.
Tip: Use 2 sets of rechargeables keeping the spare set on charge.
Say haven't I seen them on sale with a big sucker on one end?
I imagine you stick it to a convenient smooth surface perhaps by the sink to encourage you to do the dishes or do you stick it to something to stop it rolling under the bed out of reach?
Perhaps you stick it to your boyfriends forehead for the amusement of girlfriends while you teach him the difference between yours and the entrance to a beer.
Most guys are intimidated by the prescence of a vibrator in the room but why; it only means she's being considerate by understanding your need to watch the footy occasionally.

Go on, there must be more to say on this subject.

I do own a vibrator, but I don't use it very often - I find it distracting if I am alone, and it has been a long time since I have used one with a partner. I prefer to come in company, to be honest, and there is so much more to my sexual response than vibration, and so much more than my genitals, or indeed my body.

Have you had a non-sexual massage from a vibrator designed for that? I think the proper use of one can relax a person to the point where sexuality is enhanced. Relaxation can be very important, after all the biggest sex organ is the brain.
Similarly the use of a vibrator in places that are next to erotic areas can be useful. I think variable speed is the key, with the lowest being the best.

I saw the 'Vagina Monologues' the other day, and the biggest laugh in the entire evening was in response to two words:
Slow...
down...

I'm with Ben on this. Have tried on a couple of occasions, and the vibrations are just...a little too much.

Technology, people! You can get variable speeds that slow down to a bare murmer. Stop buying jackhammers!
