Well, not really new, is it. Just new to me.
Thanks for the great Entry, sounds like something I might enjoy that I wouldn't have known about otherwise. I'll check it out on a future trip the the library.

Just to mention in passing that as Terry Pratchett's "Discworld" series grow older, more and more elements of "steampunk" appear to be creeping into a pseudo-Victorian landscape. The clockwork semaphore system (the Clacks) that takes the place of telephones is a prime example, as is HEX, the wholly unique ant-driven computeer mainframe.
