Loved reading this you did a wonderful job and i even learned that my weird little collecting habit has a name.
I'm a digitabulist and i never knew it.

I wouldn't call myself a digitabulist, I'm not a collector, I've only got 25, just enough to fill the map shaped display unit which I took a liking to, on my wall.

I inherited the habit from my mum ~ she's got about 1000 and i've got 350 or so ~ trouble is once people know you collect something they start buying them for you and the souvenire ones are so cheap.

sounds like your mum has a great collection, and yours sounds great too. Is there any one that you could say is your favourie?

I guess, amongst my very small amount, I'd say my favourite is the snowman one that my son bought for Christmas a few years back.

I've a couple of really old silver ones but my fave is one of my mums ~ it has santa sat on a chimney and his sack dangles over the edge on a string or i've one of the loch ness monster whose head goes up and down.
