A Conversation for Kate Bush - Singer/Songwriter
Wuthering Heights - Mark 2

I'm sorry, but the version of WH on "The Whole Story" wasn't, in any way, an improvement on the original. Rather than demonstrating the original being naive, or that Kate's voice had improved, it just demonstrated a change in fashion and that wailing divas were the in-thing (Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey et al). Thankfully, the fashion seems to have passed.

"Wuthering Heights" will never be the same for me since it was featured in the "Mis-heard Lyrics" round of a show called "Never Mind the Buzzcocks". The panel came up with the following lyrics:
Out on the wild and windy moor
Sweet Roland fell in Brie.
You had distemper, like my jealous eel,
Too hot, too greasy.
Well, the first line was right!
