are these acting credits? i know rick moranis' role in ghostbusters was originally written with john candy in mind, but...

Wasn't John Candy the green globby ghost who eats the hot dogs and slimes Bill Murrey?...... Nah.

I think the reviewer got him mixed up with Dan Akroyd maybe... or maybe the Stay Puff marshmellow man perhaps.

I thought all the credits were perculiar I guess you can't cover everthing, but you are right about ghostbusters, no sign of that at IMDb

My favourite is "Splash" where he has to get past a swedish security guard. He speaks the only swedish he knows (from a porn flick he saw) which turns out to be "Hey Rudy, I have a 12 inch penis". The guard looks astonished then lets him pass. Funny as hell

That can't be the movie SPLASH I'm thinking of...the one with the Mermaid?

Editors don't check content so much as grammar, spelling etc. They're too busy.

Yes I mean Splash the mermaid film!!!!!! When Candy and the scientist go to the research place to rescue the mermaid from the tank they have to get past a swedish guard and the subtitle appears when he talks.

He wasn't in Home Alone either.

When the mother is trying to get home to the brat she gets a lift in a van with a band, the one she talks to is no other than John Candy. A minor role but a role none the less.
