Howdy Hikers
My name is Damon Crook and Im an English postdoc entomologist (bugs) working at Kansas State University. I moved to the States 6 months ago and have more or less metamorphosized into Homer Simpson, ie bought big telly (32 inches of Cable heaven baby), dvd player etc etc, and anything else with nice flashing buttons on it. I also have learnt the local american 'lingo' by saying "That sucks", "Cool","Whatever" and "A*****e" instead of the english favourite " YouT**t". Have also tried to enjoy and get into the local sports such as College Football but have decided its rugby for girls and its about as exciting as Sumo wrestling.
As for this web page, it suits my sarcastic nature nicely so Ill be hanging around for a while I guess.
