The Wirral Show
Paul the Programmer Started conversation Aug 13, 2002
I don't know if the researcher lives anywhere near Wallasey, but the Wirral Show takes place EVERY year. You know when it comes 'round - there is a constant procession of cars coming in off the M53 and (usually, they were absent this year) a great Red Arrows display, amongst other air shows.
For anyone that cares, New Brighton also has been hosting a beer festival on the last weekend of June. Run by the former licensee of the Albion, Albion Street - it incorporates between 7 and 11 pubs and also the Beer Cellar in Fort Perch Rock.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
