You made note of Canada having two sites listed in the first 24. But unless I'm confusing these UNESCO Whirled Hairytage Sites with some other category I believe you'll find that the Town of Lunenburg Nova Scotia (which used to be portrayed on the back of our $100 bill) has also been acclaimed for several years and the 65 million year old fossil site at Joggins Nova Scotia was just announced this year.
