A Conversation for Photoelectric Effect

Light is not a wave, as the photoelectric effect shows us. However, Young's slits demonstrate light is not a particle either. Now, as science is based ont he philosophy of logical positivism, and both of these theories have failed an experimental test, we must conclude that light is neither a particle nor a wave.

Although these two models (wave and particle) are useful in allowing us to contemplate photons, they are both ultimately incorrect. And since photons exist in the quantum realm we probably won't ever be able to visualise them. However, we can study them and learn about how they behave, and that, after all, is what science is all about.
