Well done! smiley - ok

A question, my father and I both have four-barreled names, that is to say three given names with one surname. His middle names are Stuart MacLeod while mine are Craig MacLeod. The surname is not particularly Scottish but has it's roots in Roman occupied Britain. Could I use the MacLeod tartan? The Scot part of the family hails from the Isle of Skye.

I'd say definitely! Co-incidentally my ex-husband (and consequently both my children) have Macleod in their names too, so I'd be interested in what that tartan looks like smiley - smiley

MacLeod of Harris is a nice tasteful dark green with blue and some yellow. MacLeod of Lewis is a bright yellow thing like golfers' pants from the 70s. Its your choice. (Harris and Lewis being two neighbouring islands next to Syke.) I chose the Harris. smiley - smiley

I know this after looking up my surname(Nichol/Nicholl/Nicol/Nicoll) and finding it was a sept of the MacLeods.

Dad had the dark blue one but I remember seeing the yellow one around so I'll make the tasteful choice and go with the former if I ever have to choose.
