It IS big, and so I suppose I can understand why my missus isn't happy about it being mounted over our bedroom door.

Yes, a good entry, well written and researched by pailaway.
I had a bowie style knife during my term as a mountain craft leader.It's now been safely disposed of, no use for it anymore.
