Cumbernaulds Town Centre recently received the Carbunkle 'Plook on a Plinth' award for most unsightly landmark in Scotland. Judges described the building as 'a sight more expected in war-ravaged Bosnia', echoing the popular belief that it was built by a band of blind cowboys using two blunt chisels and a .45 loaded with an H-bomb.
