I must confess, the only reason I'd ever heard of this song is because of Weird Al Yankovic's "The Jedi Song," which was a parody of Star Wars Episode 1 and used the same tune.
I like both songs and I don't know why. Catchy little tunes they are.
The parody version's chorus goes,
"My, my this here Anakin guy,
may be Vader someday later.
Now he's just a small fry.
And he left his home,
And kissed his mommie goodbye.
Sayin, 'Soon I'm gonna be a Jedi.'
'Soon I'm gonna be a Jedi.'"
I thought that was pretty funny.
