Also worth mentioning: the 1983 album Born Again. This features (Deep Purple's) Ian Gillan doing the vocals; the song Digital Bitch being particularly impressive.

Haven't heard the whole album yet. I think Zero the Hero was on that one. I've heard that, and it does sound good. I'm pretty sure Gillan was singing on that track.
I'll probably buy Born Again at some point, hopefully it'll be at the record shop in the market

Iommi/Sabbath kept up the Deep Purple theme with Glenn Hughes taking vocals on '86 's Seventh Star, one of the least "Sabbath" albums band-wise (with even Geezer taking a break), it was sometimes billed as a Iommi solo project ("Black Sabbath featuring Tony Iommi" is on the only copies of it I've seen, with Tony Iommi being LARGER on the side of the cassette).
It's a decent album with some good highlights like the title track and "In For The Kill" and is still in the general Sabbath-vein highlighted by Iommi's gloomy yet usually awesome guitar work.

Born Again is worth picking up, I'd say. I ain't dug it out for a while. I should be getting a CD tomorrow of the demos he did with Sabbath...should be interesting...
I need to get hold of Seventh Star someday...it's the only hole in my Sabbath collection! >_<
