a geordie asks:
what about all the bridges spanning the tyne? they are pritty famous landmarks, (especially the tyne bridge, and the more recent millenium bridge [which although yes gateshead paid for and so it dosent actually touch the newcastle side]) but i'm sure that the bridges deserve a mention,

Well right now you have the Millenium Bridge, the Swing Bridge, The Tyne Bridge(AKA George V Bridge) the High Level Bridge, The Queen Elizabeth Bridge, the King Edward Bridge, the Redheugh Bridge & the Scotswood Bridge. This doesnt include older bridges like Pons Aelius & the Medieval Tyne bridge, ok I will go away and research then write an entry and see what everyone thinks.
