Enjoyed reading about the Isle of Wight, because my relatives came from here. Sir Edward Richards of Yaverland, was the sheriff and his son Edward moved to US in 1636. His uncle, Germaine was the Vice-Adm. of the Isle of Wight in 1553. I have been trying to put some history with all the research I am doing.
