Scene kids, although they are not named anywhere else it seems other than HF-L, do indeed exist.
Clothes: anything torn, fingerless gloves, usually in incredibly bright and often garish colors mixed in with black, make-up in said colors as well
Music: Anything, although not usually anything of quality. Most likely emo bands, such as Bloc Party, AFI, Panic! At the Disco, etc.
Attitude: Music. It's all about the music. When in doubt, bring up an awful band. They will probably gush about said band for two hours and you can make a getaway.

how about when did AFI become "scene"? They have been around longer than most scence kids!!!They used to be good- although I admit, lately it's all a bit rubbish but still!SCene?!nope!
