I don't got a tail, me being an and all, but I could chuck in my halo, won't take long to earn another.

Ha, do you think I don't see that you are crossing your fingers behind your back?
Which reminds me: did you find your glasses?

Did you search the chinks in the sofa then?
We managed again :-D
Fizzymouse- no place like home Posted Jun 11, 2007
Yes I've searched everywhere, the problem is I lost them while sleeping, or maybe going to bed - they could be anywhere - I maybe even flushed them down the loo.

No I fell asleep here on Friday night just after logging off, I woke up at 5.30ish and went to bed - somewhere between here and there I did something with my glasses.

Anything is possible.
.... but this isn't a big house - so they should turn up - eventually.
Did I ever tell you how these glasses got wrecked.

No, and I'm not sure I want to know
I bet you'll tell me that you sat down on them - which would be a lie, a sitting down on glasses can't have any impact on them.

Nothing as mundane as that.
Let me take you back to a stormy day in November .........
The recycle bin was outside the back gate, but the wind carried it down the road ........ it's one of those big plastic wheelie bins with a hinged lid.
So I went after it .... as you do ..... now you know I *always* have my glasses stuck on my head keeping my hair out of my face.
When I caught the bin, instead of dragging it back home I was pushing it ........ against the wind ........ when a great big gust came ...... and blew the lid open ........ smack right into my head.
Little nose pieces of the glasses broke on my skull....... ouch.
Feel free to at my stoopidity.

.... and I see Wilma is back to claim the guide entry.
