If it makes it any easier, I made a typo in the Spatial subheader under the Spell Catogories section. It should be "from one side of a continent" instead of "from on side of a continent," that way the sentence makes sense. Also, I forgot to capitalize the rest of the words in the "What's in a wizard?" heading. That's what I get for making the header a question.

Thanks for pointing those out They'll be changed for the edited version.
And thanks for writing such a fantastic entry for me to sub-edit!

It looks great with the paragraph breaks. What with my ranting style of writing and my lack of experience I didn't break the paragraphs instinctively. I was getting around to it, but with all the other errors to take care of in an entry this stupidly long, and other busy things to do, I didn't get to it making them myself by the time it had been offically recommended. Sorry you had to do it yourself. It's just as well though, I probably would have put the breaks in the wrong spots.

I don't understand why you go out of your way to make Earth lowercase. Are you trying to insult the Earth? Maybe every time it says 'the Earth' you thought it was refering to dirt.

Ahhhh! It's the name of the planet you live on! Give the lady some respect. And stop playing with my mind, or I'll tell the U.N. all about your clearly terrorist intents toward my homeplanet.

Hey, great entry, I love it.
Very inspiring too, I may go and start trying to write some fantasy as a result
Just one thought, AFAIK 'populous' is an adjective e.g. "The south east of England is a populous region" while 'populace' is a noun "The populace of England is made up of many ethnic groups"
Sorry to be so picky, but 'populous' *is* a word that is used consistently wrongly by people...

We never have a problem with people pointing out typos, especially when they're as interesting as this one.

Alright, that one was mine. However, I'm not the one that's supposed to be fixing the typos. That's the job of the editors. You know, the people whose only job is to fix errors after someone else has actually written the body of work. It's amazing how few errors I put into an entry so long. In fact, I might even go so far as to say that more typos were put into the entry during editing than at any other point in the process. And I don't want to press the point or anything, but to specifically go and take a capitalized proper noun and turn it into an uncapitalized proper noun seems like a lot of trouble to create a typo don't you? Is it really even a typo if it's done on purpose? At least three times throughout the entry too.
And he edited out the part about wheelchairs not having been invented in the Star Wars galaxy yet. I'm all for cutting out parts of horrendously long entries, but doesn't anyone find it interesting that there are absolutely no wheels in any of the movies? You don't notice it only because wheels are such a basic invention that you take them for granted.

Would I be off the mark in imagining you sitting down and watching all of the Star Wars movies back-to-back, freeze-framing it every few seconds and hunting for wheels?

*sigh*
Actually, there were dozens and dozens of things I had to do in order to finish this up. I had to change GuideML all over the place, add to house style, attempt to put it into British English (which is difficult because I'm American myself) and very occasionally do some spelling and grammar things.
So forgive me for nothing being convinced when you say "It's amazing how few errors I put into an entry so long."
Frankly, I'm amazed I read an entry so long four or five times...

Why would I need to freeze-frame it? I wouldn't even be able to tell the wheels from circles that way. Anyway, I know there were no links on it, but that's because it was so good when I first put it in that they rushed it off to be edited before I could put them in. And it's not like you linked to everything you could have... Editing gets no respect does it? So you're American like me? I think maths was the hardest word to read through. Like there's more than one math. No one ever says histories or biologies. And what's with the ending words in 're'? It's like they're trying to live in the past. I can see words no one ever uses, like ogre, but centre? Sadness.

That edit was down to me - it stated that Yoda was disabled, when as the movies show he's quite able-bodied, but short.
You'd be flabbergasted at the concerns we have to be aware of on a day-to-day basis

Maths:
- Arithmetic
- Calculus
- Geometry
- Trigonometry
I'm sure there are more, but these three were all part of our Mathematics curriculum at school.
Anyway, would you use 'Mathematic' as a noun?

OK I made a typo - 'three' should of course be 'four'. Obviously I wasn't paying attention in Arithmetic!

Those are all different ways of approaching the same comcept of numbers. You can have Spanish history, Hungarian history, and Russian history, but it'd clearly be silly to think of them as more than one history since they are all 'the recorded past,' which is the definition of history. I'm not sure I know what the definition of math is off-hand, they weren't obsessed about it like those history buffs, but I'm sure they all use the same number 1.
My mistake. Now that I think back on it, it becomes clear Yoda was just using his cane to get the ladies. Nothing's sexier than a fake limp.
What I've found most people never seem to get a grasp of is that television episodes, books, movies and so forth are works of art. Granted sometimes it's hard to tell. Anyway, being that, nothing which is created after the original work of art can have any true bearing on it. Just because 30 years later someone decides to make all the stormtroopers clones doesn't change the fact that they were clearly meant to be regular working-class people in the 3 original movies. So when we 'find out' that the Yoda from 'Attack of the Clones' can channel 'The Force' into his body easily removing his limp it couldn't possibly alter Yoda's displayed character from Episodes 5 and 6 who clearly has a legitimate limp. George Lucas can mess around with his Star Wars galaxy all he wants, but he can't change what Yoda was like for all the lucky people who got to see Star Wars before Hollywood got to it.
The Yoda in "Attack of the Clones" will probably be able to drop the cane whenever he wants to and fly around in the air until he's on his death bed. The Yoda from 'The Empire Strikes Back' had--from what the audience sees--been out of commission for a long time. If George Lucas changed his mind about it all decades later it was for his new movies, and maybe a little for the people who enjoy keeping Lucas's coherent depiction of Star Wars in their heads with them. It was not to 'fix' his earlier works of art. They are immortal.
