Extinct cricket?

Imagine the h2g2 site without an entry on cricket!!!! Well it's not there and it's such a glaring omission. Even the reference here is a link to nowhere! Something is amiss in the universe.
Cricket - of the test variety as opposed to the pyjama party. Is it the only game in the world that is a true sport? Two teams, going hell for leather for 5 days and if, after that time neither team is so dominant as to force a win, they call it a draw - "See you next time". Sport at its purist.

You could be right about the universe, it’s July, Britain and the sun’s out. Hmmm… I’m suspicious. Anyway, agree about the Test, it is the purist form of sport although I think you may be being overly harsh to the pyjama party. The ODI is pretty exciting, according to lots of Indians that I’ve met since last weekend…
If the Test is sport at its purest, what does that make the Test series? Sport at 0% corruption?
