Rubberband warfare in a forest.

In a Forest, where you might have been chased to after the usual sneak-up-behind-and-fire approach, there are lots of hiding places to bide your time and reload your weapon/ -s.
The regular projectile-firing may be used with small rocks if you have run out of ammunition. But aim carefully, because you shouldn't kill your pursuers, just temporally, or pemanently, disable them. But this method is noisy.
If you would like to keep your hideout, just in case, (and also have spare rubberbands) fire the whole rubberband!! The method to fire is simple when you learn it, but hard to describe, i'll give it a try now:
1. put a loop of the rubberband on the middle of the index-finger-nail and draw the other end backwards.
2. draw the end around the thumb, thumb facing up.
3. create a hook of the small-finger and use it to keep the rubberband drawn back
4. aim by pointing at the target with your index-finger
5. release the rubberband end held by the small-finger to fire
Aim towards the eyes of the hunter in order to blind them (yes, one eye is often enough!!)
That is how we do it in the swedish summers (on the winters we just bury ourselves in the snow, and stands up to fire....)

as a veteren of Loncrofts bloodiest war i feel that having a hideout is the lowest form of cowerdice. you shuld lose an eye standing than live a whole lifetime of perfect vision of the floor you are kneeling on. my only regreat with this tactic is that you are susepteble to not spotting mines. if you want to make one talk to me.

Or perhaps you may resort to a more civilized strategy- Napoleonic Tactics. Get a few thousand of your friends to line up and march straight towards the enemy line... stop about 4 or 5 yards away (good rubber-band range without loosing accuracy). Proceed to volley fire into their ranks until they break. When they do break, press the attack with longer ranged and more deadly spit-balls.
(one may also choose to have artillery support- sling shots)

yes, but what are they doing in the mean time?
a better tactic is to fall back on superior inteligence and fire power.
1) make a trypod out of sturdy beams or poles around 6Ft long
2) make sure that the botoms of the legs are also held together with 6Ft poles.
3) take 6 bycicle tire innertubes and tie them into 3 pairs.
4) attach all 3 to a metal dustbin lid
5) loop the 3 ends of inner tube around the top end of an upright and both ends of a support spa adjecent to it, with the handle of the lid facing inside the piramid.
6) pull on the handle, load with mangoes, and releace frucktoes death tho all who oppose you!
