I've noticed some discrepancies on the page, and thought I should poin them out.
1)The Montreal Expos no longer exist. They were moved to Washington, D.C. where they are called the Nationals. They play at RFK stadium until a new one is built.
2) The Florida Marlins still play at pro player stadium, but it has been renamed to Dolphin Stadium, in honor of the city's NFL team.
3) not a correction, but more of a comment and a matter of pride. The Atlanta Braves have won a record 13 divison titles.

Yes, and in addition, the Braves franchise has won the World Series twice, once in Milwaukee in 1957 and once in Atlanta in 1995. They also lost the World Series four times in the 1990s, no other team has lost that many World Series in a single decade.

The Philadelphia Phillies are not tied with the Marlins and Braves for number of World Series wins. The Phillies franchise has only won once, in 1980.

More corrections:

- The Arizona ballpark is now known as Chase Field (following the merger of Bank One into JPMorgan-Chase).
- St. Louis moves into their new ballpark for the 2006 season. Fortunately, to make editing easier, the new park is called New Busch Stadium.
- San Francisco's ballpark has changed names once, to SBC Park, and is expected to be renamed AT&T Park in the near future (as SBC has merged with, and taken the name of, AT&T).
- The 1919 Black Sox series wasn't the only best-of-9 World Series. The Series of 1920 and 1921 were also best-of-9.

Re: Cardinals.

I believe "new" is more of an adjective describing the new stadium as opposed to part of its name. Give it a few years, and it will disappear completely. You can check out the team's website:

http://stlouis.cardinals.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/stl/ballpark/index.jsp

You'll notice that the word 'new' is noticeably missing from many key spots on the page, including the photograph.

When updating the St. Louis Cardinals section, in addition to the stadium, you can increase the World Series wins from 9 to 10!

Working on an update right now, actually I've been putting it off since last November. But the Cards' win was my motivator. smiley - ok

mpenn, I got the Expos and the Marlins updates smiley - ok

gottr, actually (you made me check my notes smiley - winkeye) the Braves have won three times - they won in Boston in 1914. I'll change it. I don't know what I was thinking on the Phillies' bit smiley - doh but I'll get it fixed smiley - ok

robster, got the ballparks sorted, and yes, the Giants are now in AT&T Park. I haven't looked into the 7/9 game World Series' yet, I'll check it out. The information I got the first time came from MLB, though. smiley - ok

Gavroche! I didn't think you were still around, nice to see you! You might like to know I'm working on an update for the Cardinals entry as well - I have a great picture of Old Busch to put on it. I'll check in with you when it's in Update if you're around. smiley - ok

Thanks, guys!

I'm not around much at all. So little that when I received email notice that the Cardinals page was updated, I tried to sign in to say how much I liked the updates, and discovered to my horror I had forgotten both email and answer. I'm not old yet!

I'm sure I'll remember it ultimately.
